Scout and guide movement

The scout and guide movement function in our Vidyalaya with 76 scouts, 15 guides , 55 cubes and 35 bulbuls.

On Wednesday, all the participants assemble in the school ground in the 1st period. They start off with taking laps of the playground and BP exercise. After their warm up session they sing the scout & guide prayer, take the oath. They help in cleaning the school campus, wedding the gardens or engage themselves in some socially useful activity, to promote the dignity of the labor.

This year, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the scouts and guides put on a wonderful show by activity participating in all the programs of the day. The day started off with the “sarva dharma Prathna “ which included the prayer and a reading from the holy book of each religion.

After this they rendered their voluntary service in cleaning up the campus and cleaning the wilderness in the campus and ground. Then they all moved to the Jamnagar transport bus stand where they served water to all the waiting communities. This noble gesture was to appreciated by the people, in the media newspaper) and the parents.

03 scouts, master Tarun jethva , master Ritesh kumar prajapati and master Anshul sehgal of our vidyalaya attended and successfully completed the Rajya puraskar testing camp held at Banglore from 08-09-07 to 11-09-07.

Apart from these activities, the scouts and guides are always readily available for any voluntary services on all the functions of the vidyalaya till the end of the program pertaining to it.
